Koenig Seed and Treat expanding business to include total bulk bean system

Dennis and Travis Koenig, area farmers and owner/operators of Koenig Seed and Treat have recently upgraded their bulk bean treating business. After having outgrown their previous setup, the Koenigs added five 3000 unit bulk bins to their operation which is located in rural Postville. The total bulk bean system will be utilized by customers from all over Northeast Iowa and beyond.

Dennis Koenig explained, “We have the capability to treat about 20 varieties of hybrid seeds. As independent treaters we have the ability to treat any one of several varieties as needed.”
