Postville performers score Division I at State

Postville’s TV News performances of “The Witching Hour” earned straight 1’s to garner an overall Division I rating at the State Large Group Speech competition Saturday.

Competition took place at Waterloo West High School.

Postville was among schools taking part in the competition to earn a chance to advance to All-State.

With the solid performance, both coaches and students were left waiting as the formal announcement of which acts can advance to All-State was due Monday afternoon.

Postville students were coached by Derek and Anne Friederich.
