Postville Public Library offers summer reading program

The Postville Library’s summer reading program will feature goodie bags and crafts. Pictured are mochi squishies for goodie bags and pom poms for making crafts.
The Postville Public Library will once again be offering a summer reading program for area kids in July.
The program will feature snacks from area small businesses (including kosher and halal options), sensory bags, glow jars, goodie bags, and a visit from the Humane Society. It will be held outdoors at the Library if the weather permits, or indoors if the weather is poor.
The Library will be hosting the program from 5 to 6 p.m. on July 9, 16, 23, and 30.
Registration is required for each week’s program (as attendance will be capped due to space limitations) and parents are required to stay with their children during the event. Library staff kindly request that parents make every effort to sign up only if they are able to attend, as unused registration spots prevent other children from attending.
Forms will be available in the Postville Library, on the Hometown to the World Facebook group, on the Postville Public Library’s Facebook page, or can be found on fliers around town.
