Sky watchers throughout the United States had a rare treat over the weekend with bright aurora borealis (northern lights) visible in many locations. Amateur photographer Sean Duffy shot this photo from near the end of his driveway just outside Postville. He said he used a 2.5 second exposure to capture the vivid color.
