Volleyball team shows good work ethic in preseason drills

The Pirate Volleyball Team is once again coached by Sam Becker and Denise Mauss and has six returning letter winners on the roster. They are Hannah Lage, Jenna Schutte, Tyra Benson, Madysen Wahls, Selena Perez and Jaleasah Hendry.

Also expected to see action are Lakken Cox and Kelsey Mucia. Coach Becker said, “These girls have a good work ethic and they seem to communicate pretty well on the floor. However, we still have several areas where we need to improve. Our biggest problems right now are being consistent and coming up with the big hits.”
