Tim Dugger joins faculty as new Superintendent of Postville Schools

Tim Dugger, Superintendent of Schools, is among the many new faces gracing the halls of the Postville Community School District this fall.

Following the resignation of Abe Maske last spring, Dugger was hired as a shared superintendent between the Postville and North Winneshiek School Districts. He will be at Postville 75% of the time and at North Winneshiek 25%.

An Iowa native, Dugger graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in elementary and middle school education. He also earned endorsements in science and coaching. He also has a Master’s Degree and Superintendent’s degree from Drake University.

Asked about his decision to pursue a career in education, he commented, “I do not come from a long line of teachers. In fact, my folks owned a grocery store in my hometown of Manson for years. After having put in many hours at the store, I was sure of one thing; I did not want to be in the grocery business.”
