Postville Hometown Celebration and Big Four Fair held June 17-19

The 2016 Postville Hometown Celebration and Big Four Fair was held June 17-19, 2016. 

FreedomBank received first place for its float in the Hometown Parade Friday, June 17. The Boy Scouts received second prize and the girl scouts were third. Lyle and Cindy Opheim, longtime business owners of 4-County Ag, were the Grand Marshals. There were about 50 entries in the parade which lasted nearly 40 minutes. The awards were presented at the fair grounds at the conclusion of the Little Miss and Mr. Postville contest.

Reann Schuchhardt and Ryder Henry were crowned Little Miss and Mr. Postville at the Hometown Celebration Friday night. Crowning them were last year’s royalty, Olivia Ultreras Schultz and Griffin Day.
