Pirates pick up first win of the season against Dunkerton

Last Wednesday afternoon the Pirates picked up their first win of the season when they defeated Dunkerton at home by a score of 13-3.

Mac Hughes was the winning pitcher has he went four and one third innings. He gave up just two hits and three runs. He walked four  and struck out zero.

Ty Johnson finished the game as he allowed one hit in two thirds of an inning.

Evan Jacobson led the offense with a grand slam home run. Also hitting a home run was Trevar Benson who had three RBI’s.
