In Loving Memory of Lennon Scott Schara-Horns

This bench, donated to the school in memory of Lennon Horns, was given by his Aunt and Uncles and was placed outside Postville High School. Lennon, who died tragically in a car accident May 15, was a sophomore at PHS at the time of his passing. Pictured here are family members (back, left to right) Jessey Brainard, Hailey Shipp, Eli Swift, Logan Shipp, Katy Swift, Jesse James Brainard, Jasmine Brainard, Hunter Shipp, Shauna Horns and Dwight Horns. Seated on the bench are Kaia Swangstu and Lavender Horns. In front are Violet Shipp and Daisy Shipp. Having lost another son, Dominic to brain cancer in 2009, a bench in his memory sits in front of Cora B. Darling School. A bench in memory of both boys, who were great lovers of all things nature, was placed at Stonebrook Park in rural Allamakee County.
