Lady Pirates fall in three to MFL MarMac

The Lady Pirates opened the volleyball season last week in Monona in the Bulldog gym. They fell to the home team in three. The scores were 25-4, 25-11 and 25-10. Starters for the Pirates were Tierney Bodley, Lakken Cox, Kaitlen Leiran, Kelsey Mucia, Selena Perez, Peyton Smith and Jaleasah Hendry.

Perez and Smith had eight assists each. Bodley had five and Lansing and Leiran both had eight assists each as well.

This week the Lady Pirates were to host Waukon on Tuesday, August 30. They will also be at home on Thursday, September 1 against North Fayette Valley. Thursday, September 8 they travel to South Winn to battle the Warriors.
