Heins and Leiran receive I ratings at State speech

Three Postville High School speech students participated in the State Individual Contest this past Saturday at Waldorf College in Forest City.

Emma Heins received an overall I rating for her acting piece, “I Can’t Stop.” Kaitlen Leiran received an overall I rating for her poetry piece, “Stages of Love” and Alexis Gerleman received a II rating for her poetry piece, “Depression and Suicide.”

Coach Friederich said, “Congratulations to all of our State performers for a great showing at the State level.”
