Cross country runs at South Winn as they prepare for conference meet this week

The cross country teams participated in a meet hosted by South Winn last Tuesday. The meet was held at the South Winn Golf Club.

Laura Roman was the only Pirate running in the girls race. Her time was 28:49.30.

The boys meet was won by Decorah with 23 points. Other teams and their places were South Winn, 70; Crestwood, 73; Waukon, 99; Clayton Ridge, 152; New Hampton, 171; Central, 199; MFL MarMac, 215; Nashua, 218; Postville, 280 and Turkey Valley, no team score.

This week they will run in the conference meet at Clayton Ridge High School.
