Commencement set for Sunday, May 29; scholarships and awards presented

Commencement exercises will be held in the Fine Arts and Civic Center at Postville Community Schools Sunday, May 29 at 2:30 p.m.

Twenty-nine students in the Class of 2016, having completed the requirements for graduation, as prescribed by the Board of Education, will receive their diplomas.

Members of the National Honor Society are Luul Faarh Abdullahi, Grant Imoehl, Hannah Grace Lage and Jenna Marie Schutte.

Those students receiving Dollars for Scholars scholarships were: Luul Farah Abdullahi, Tyra Benson, Joshua Dahl, Yusuf Dahir Haji, Janett Hernandez, Kaitlyn Heying, Grant Imoehl, Clarissa Kjosa, Hannah Lage, Denver Leach, Tressa Loomis, Yobany Lopez-Tino, Josue Marroquin, Fardowsa Abduille Muhumed, Mohamed Muhumed, Melvin Alexis Munoz-Valdez, Clint Plagman, Olivia Root, Gavin Ruckdaschel, Kolin Schnuelle, Jenna Schutte, Mason Smith, Aaron Swartzendruber, Andrea Vicente-Arias, Candice Wenthe.
