Board of Education approves school calendar for 2015-16

The Postville Board of Education, meeting in regular session April 13, approved several hires under its consent agenda.

Shelsea Baker, who currently teaches third grade, resigned her position as she was hired as the ESL newcomer instructor for the 2015-16 school year. Jenna Brincks, a Postville High School graduate, was also hired for the upcoming school year as a fifth and sixth grade literacy teacher. Morgan Deering was hired as the girls softball coach and a third grade teacher and Nick Zieman was approved as a volunteer golf coach and Kim Kleve as a volunteer softball coach.

Amanda Rodgers and Brad Bucknell will once again be conducting summer driver education classes. Glen Lansing will continue to be a shared maintenance director for the Postville District as well as the Valley School District.
